Our Share Offer

Lower Park Farm Co-operative is offering 1,250,000 Withdrawable Shares at £1 per Share in order to raise £1.25 million.

Shares and all sums outstanding will yield interest at 8% per annum, which will begin accruing as soon as the share offer is fully subscribed.

Shares will be withdrawn across the lifetime of the project, estimated at 10 years (which may vary depending on AD performance). The project will last as long as it takes for all shares to be withdrawn, and all accrued interest to be paid. After this time, the AD plant will belong to the founding members of the Co-operative (i.e. the Farmers).

Members will receive regular share withdrawal and interest payments over the lifetime of the project, starting once the AD is generating an income in year 2. It is intended for the payments to be amended annually. By default, all Members will receive regular payments throughout the lifetime of the project relative to their shareholding.

Shares in Lower Park Farm Co-operative will not increase in value beyond their nominal value of £1 and the owner will be paid the nominal value when Shares are withdrawn.

Members will see a return on their investment in the form of the 8% interest rate, and not via fluctuations in the value of their Shares.

In the initial offer period, we are inviting investors to subscribe for between 1,000 and 100,000 Shares each.

Residents of the villages and hamlets within close proximity of the Farm qualify for a reduced minimum investment of 500 Shares.

The Share Offer is open to all.
